The Information we collect
All the way through the present policy, we refer to the information that identifies you personally as “Personal Information”. Mayoral collects the information that you provide in order to be able to respond to your requests, such as, process your orders, send promotions or publicity by email, event invitations.
The information we collect is what you provide us with for example your name, postal address or email address, telephone number, occupation, personal interests, account number or card number.
If you provide us with personal information about another person such as your partner, you must have said person’s authorisation before providing their details.
When you visit the Mayoral web page, we record your IP address (Internet address of your computer), to give us an idea of which parts of the web page you visit and how much time you pass in each section. We do not link your IP address to any of your personal information, except in cases where you are navigating through our web having previously registered with a username and password.

- WC_AUTHENTICATION_: WebSphere commerce uses an authentication cookie to manage authentication data. An authentication cookie only flows through SSL and has a date and time signature to ensure maximum security. This cookie is used to confirm the user through SSL connections.
- WC_USERACTIVITY_: This is a user session cookie which flows between the navigator and the server by SSL no SSL connection. It’s used to identify the user through none SSL connections. It contains user session values like for example, waiting period for connection, session identification etc.

- WC_GENERIC_ACTIVITYDATA: Stores selected user preferences such as store, language, currency etc.
- WC_PERSISTENT: This cookie is used so as that the user ID, Language ID, and currency persist for each store visit. There can be various identification sets if the user visits more than one store.

- CompareItems_#Catalogo: This is used to compare products.
- __utma, __utmb, __utmc, __utmd, __utmv, __utmz: Monitors the web page through the Google Analytics tool, which is a service offered by google in order to obtain information about the web page users access. Some of the details stored for posterior analysis are:- How many times a user has visited the web, Dates of first and last visits, duration of the visit, web page from which the user access’s the web page, search engine used by the user to get the web page or link used, where in the world the user is based etc.. Mayoral uses your personal information to respond to your requests and to do so, it may be necessary to share your information with third parties. How we protect your personal information
Mayoral guarantee’s the safety of the data you provide us through electronic procedures and face to face procedures. When needed, Mayoral web pages use SSL encryption to increase the security when transmitting data. In Mayoral, data is stored in servers with controlled access. Your information may be stored and processed in Spain or any other country where Mayoral, their affiliates or agents are located.
We make an extra effort to protect your personal information, but we cannot ensure the security of information that you provide us through an un-safe internet connection, for this reason, we ask you to take all of the necessary measures to protect your personal details when using the internet.
You can protect your personal details in various ways such as changing your password frequently, using a combination of numbers and letters in your password, and making sure you are using a safe navigator. Also be conscious of “phishing”, through which theft of consumer’s personal details and bank account details is attempted. “Phishers” use emails to take consumers to false web pages designed to trick the consumer in to proportioning sensitive personal information such as credit card numbers, account user name, passwords and social security numbers. Mayoral will never send you an email asking for sensitive personal information. Mayoral minor’s policy
We advise parents and guardians to accompany their children when they are using the internet and to take part in the interactive activities offered on the web. If you are under 14 and would like to register, you should ask your parent or guardian to provide their details as well as yours. We will then send an email to your parent or guardian informing them that your details will be registered on the web page and ask that they confirm they have given consent. If you have indicated that you would like to receive information or greetings cards from Mayoral (only available for certain ages, as indicated upon registration) we would ask, when required, for your parents or guardians consent.
The provided parent or guardians email address will only be used to inform said parent or guardian, – when required by data protection rules-, and also to obtain consent for the registration of the minor, as previously explained. The sent email communications ( and received consent) may be stored for testing.
Third party web pages
The web Mayoral web page contains links to third party web pages, some of which may contain the Mayoral logo. Although, these web pages are not operated or maintained by Mayoral. Mayoral does not share your personal information with these web pages and is not responsible for their privacy policies. The use of any third party web page is your own responsibility.
We choose our commercial partners carefully, but Mayoral will not be held responsible for privacy policies on third party web pages whose links appear on our web page. When you leave our web page, you should revise the privacy declaration applicable to the third party web page in order to determine how any information you provide will be used.
Following an order, the Trusted Shops Trustbadge is incorporated into this web page in order to display our Trusted Shops trustmark for buyers and the eventually collected reviews, as well as the Trusted Shops product offer.

Whenever a Trustbadge is called up, the web server automatically stores a so-called server log file which contains, for example, your IP address, the date and time of retrieval, the data volume transferred and the requesting provider (access data), and documents the retrieval.
